本作は松田本人がMCを務める架空のニュースショー「THE TRUTH」を舞台に、“毒とユーモア”で世間の真実に迫っていく番組だ。豪華ゲストと討論を繰り広げるコーナーをはじめ、料理、英会話、街頭インタビューなど多様な企画が展開するが、どれもこれも役に立ちそうで立たないシュールなものばかり。番組の影のフィクサーも見え隠れし、混迷を極める番組はやがて人間の本質（＝THE TRUTH）をあぶり出していく。キャッチコピーは「ついてこれますか。おいていきますよ。」。

之前也算小有成就的摄影师和也（窪塚洋介 饰），却在人生的旅途中迷失了方向。他彷徨失措，逡巡在造物构建的迷宫中，既找不到出口，也失去了前进的动力。某天，和也受人所托带着一只猫来到巴黎，次日他决定结束这绝望的生命。命运的玩笑似乎没有终结，求死不能的和也来到哥哥阿聪的公寓，他没有见到哥哥，却邂逅了小号手安东尼及塞内加尔女子尼玛。接下来的日子里，来自异国他乡的三个人漂浮在这座浪漫的都市内，有如浮萍一般，漫无目的。那一天，和也遇见了美丽的日本女孩理惠（桃生亚希子 饰），孤独城市，惺惺相惜，他们坠入爱河。 　　只是在这一过程中，和也意外知道了关于哥哥的秘密……

The young solicitor Peter Rohm is assigned to defend him, but Rohm himself — an expert on Mengele and his crimes — feels unable to do so. When he decides to take on the case, he endangers not only his marriage but also his and his wife's lives.
